Back to "Normal" Life

The whole crew is back in their respective cities. Although it was sad to leave Shreveport, it's exciting to enter into the next phase of making the film: post production. Editing takes a while, but it's a great element of the filmmaking process. This is where we assemble the film. We've taken many great shots but we have to select which ones are the best to tell the story with. The poster for the film is done (see below) and once editing is done, we send the film off for sound.
While editing the film is far from "normal" life, we're back to work at our jobs, with our families, friends. No longer on production schedule, where personal time doesn't exist. In some ways, that's refreshing. In others, it's sad. Production is a great time, even if it's hard work. But a sense of normality while doing what you love is the best combination.
I love watching the film come together at various stages. Scriptwriting gets thoughts onto paper. Pre production puts images, locations, and actors to that idea. Production produces the footage, and post-production assembles the film. This is the final stretch, and we can't wait to share the film with you. Thank you for your continued support.
