Picture locked and sent off for sound!

This is a shorter update, but the film has been picture locked officially! That means no more changes visually will happen to the film. This is important because the sound mixer and composer rely on time specific cues which could be messed up if the length of any of the clips are changed. I'm meeting with the sound mixer on Wednesday to hear his thoughts and give him mine. The composer is working hard on the different pieces and will be sending them my way as they get finished. Ultimately, the film is out of our hands until the beginning of September.

That means we can work on other projects. Expect to hear about our newest two short films entering into pre production THIS WEEK! We couldn't start them until Triple Indemnity was sent off. We'll be putting up a Trailer for the film after the announcement of the top 20 on August 12th, which will be linked here and on our YouTube channel, as well as on the Facebook page.

While this might not be the most exciting update, this just means the film is that much closer to being finished. We'll update the blog on the 12th to let everyone know the timeframe for release of the film.
